[Novel] 꿀벌 Honeybee

지구상의 수많은 꽃과 식물들의 수정이 꿀벌들에 의해 이루어진다.
 
꽃과 식물들의 수정을 꿀벌만이 할 수 있는 건 아니지만 벌들에 의해 유지되는 생태계는 그 기초가 무너지게 될 것이다.
 
그리고 그 생태계의 제일 상위층인 인류에게도 영향을 끼치게 될 것이다.
 
때문에 인류는 꿀벌의 멸종을 대비하고자 꿀벌 로봇을 만들었다. 
 
꿀벌 로봇의 역할은 기존에 있던 꿀벌의 역할과 같았다.
 
꽃의 꿀을 모으면서 자동적으로 꽃의 수정을 도와주는 것이다.
 
하지만 기존 꿀벌과 다른 점 하나는 말벌과 같은 잡식성 벌을 쉽게 제압할 수 있다는 것이었다.
 
기존 꿀벌이 하나의 말벌을 제압하려면 수많은 꿀벌들의 희생이 필요하지만, 꿀벌 로봇은 몸도 단단하고 꿀벌보다 몇 십 배 쎈 독을 가지고 있기 때문에 벌들의 최상위 계층에 있을 수 있었다.
 
그러자 생태계에서도 변화가 이루어졌다. 
 
잡식성 벌들이 꿀벌들을 습격하지 않기 시작한 것이다.
 
대신 잡식성 벌들은 꿀벌들과 동맹을 맺었다.
 
이제 꿀벌들은 꿀을 모으고 그 꿀을 보호하는 역할은 잡식성 벌들이 맡았다.
 
아무것도 못하고 꿀만 모으던 꿀벌들의 상황이 아무것도 못하고 꿀을 보호하는 잡식성 벌들의 상황으로 변한 것이다.
 
이 때문에 꿀을 원하는 모든 생물들 곰, 벌꿀오소리 그리고 인간은 전보다 꿀을 모으기 어려워졌다.
 
전에는 꿀벌만 제압하면 되었지만 이제는 여러 종류들의 벌을 제압해야 되었기 때문이었다.
 
인류는 꿀벌의 멸종을 막는 건 성공했지만 그로인해 또 하나의 문제가 생겼다.
